If I'm a student in your art class, what can I expect to see or do on the first day?
When class begins I will have rules and expectations written on the walls and on the board I will have written instructions with the materials we will be using and the goal for the day. I will have a seating chart ready for students when they walk in the door. And have them right down things they enjoy. I will tell them my rules and expectations for the class and then finish the class with a fun "get to know you" game so the students and I can get more aquatinted.
